ANIBIC VOICE (Vocational Opportunities in Community Employment) provides a full range of services for individuals over the age of 17 who have a diagnosis of a Developmental Disability.

These services include:

DVE (Diagnostic Vocational Evaluation)
The DVE is designed to identify an individual’s strengths, needs, and interests related to the world of work so that an individualized vocational plan can be developed. We take care in administering a comprehensive fifteen day evaluation that measures vocational preparedness, based on accepted norms, through a battery of testing that includes work samples and interest inventories.

Prevocational Training
This is a self paced program designed to assist the individual, through person centered planning, reach their goal of preparing for the world of work. Focus is on appropriate work place behaviors such as punctuality, attire, self expression, stress management, and career exploration.

WAT (Work Adjustment Training)

Focuses on work related issues such as workplace safety, OSHA, W-2, income Taxes, I-9, resumes, cover letter, paychecks , employee rights and responsibilities. Program is up to 65 days based on need and person centered planning.

Supported Employment

Job Development
At ANIBIC, employment opportunities are identified by using the person centered plan approach by paying close attention to individual goals. Individuals prepare resumes, cover letters, applications and thank you notes and go on job interviews with the support of a job developer.

Intensive Job Coaching
We offer 90 hours of intensive, one on one job coaching, where job analysis is prepared, and task specific instruction is delivered. The valued outcome is to work as independently as possible. More hours are available depending on need.

Supported Job Coaching
Intended for the individual who has been graduated from intensive job coaching. The hours of service vary, depending on need, but all individuals receive a minimum of two visits per month in order to identify needs, review progress, and develop additional goals.
